+PERSPECTIVE
All experience is a matter of perspective. We all live and operate within set parameters every day, yet we all end up with contrasting individual experiences. though we each operate with an overall perspective, there is a dynamic sub-perspective, if you will, that exists in each moment as choices present themselves. These are the factors that determine the quality of our experience.
Many times we've heard the question asked, "is the glass half full or half empty?". There is a level of faith and optimism in the answer we express that says everything about the expectations generated from our perspective. Perspective in itself is a matter of choice. There is nothing that designates us to a particular perspective. We have an ability to revolutionize the quality of our lives simply by choosing an improved point of vantage.
This shift in perspective is comprised of a rearrangement of values, expectations and degrees of appreciation. These three things formulate our approach to life. What values have we built your character upon? Accountability, diligence, faith? What do we expect of and for yourself? Success, fulfillment, prosperity? What do we appreciate about ourselves here and now? Opportunity, potential, capability?
Our responses to these questions indicate what we are allowing ourselves to receive. It is up to us to determine the quality of our perspective by virtue of these three things. That which we seek is complete and waiting for us to catch up to speed. If we aren't able to see it, complaining and forfeiting are not solutions and perhaps a new perspective is in order. Try observing and living your day from the perspective of who you admire most, you'll find every reason for appreciation.
